Ausbildung4me is aimed at students in grades 8 to 10, primarily at schools in the Hamburg area. The goal is to support teens on their way to starting an apprenticeship.

Through our years of experience in working with children and adolescents, we are aware of the varying living conditions of young people. The idea for the project Ausbildung4me came about from this work above all. In Ausbildung4me, participants gain skills and knowledge that will help them even after the course has ended. The project is built on the following pillars:
In the courses, students receive support and instruction from an instructor. The topics covered by the course include career guidance, preparing job applications and guidance on job interviews. An important aspect that is always in the forefront during the course is motivating the participants. We help them to find their strengths and weaknesses and bolster with confidence in view of their future career path.
We also organize presentations and visits from positive role models, largely those with an immigrant background, who can show the young participants opportunities and possibilities by sharing their career path and experiences. We are additionally working on building a network of various organizations and supporters, schools and companies, which will allow us to support the students at the start of their careers in the best way possible. A platform where the teens can showcase themselves as potential trainees and highlight their strengths, such as the fact that they speak more than one language, is also planned. This will give companies a clear way to find applicants quickly.
